Exhibition- and graphic-design of i FABRIC : European Talent curated by Suzan Russeler.
While textiles may be often seen as static, our wish was to highlight their complexity through emphasizing their lightness and natural movements. Almost all the exhibits have been suspended from the ceiling, mainly hung as mobiles, allowing them to be gently caressed and driven by the airflow in the exhibition space.
The result of this minimalistic installation was a dynamic space with a constant, random, subtle movement – displaying the ever changing qualities of the exhibits and functioning as a supporting background to the presented work, rather than being a concurrent.
