Linear Cycle
Commissioned by: Isabelle Daëron and Fabien Petiot
Event: D’Days
2014, Paris, France
Linear Cycle is not a common clock.
Instead of the usual rotating dials it features a revolving shell-like element which allows it to indicate the passing hours on a linear plate instead of a circular one.
This unique time display offers a playful alternative to one of the most known objects to men and may draw some more attention and increase awareness to our advance through time..
Linear Cycle was introduced during the Roues Libres (Freewheel) exhibition.
