Tubelight
The Tubelight was born from our fascination with fluorescent tubes, and archetypical industrial lighting fixtures. With its flexible tube, it redefines the conventional fluorescent light, and bends the rules of lighting, literally.
Being recognizable, yet distinctive, and introducing innovative features such as the dim-to- warm function, the Tubelight transcends traditional fixtures with its versatility.
Archive Light
The Archive Lights provide a fresh perspective on the centuries-long grown portfolio of this unique company, by literally and figuratively highlighting the details that comprise it, and establishing a link between the past, present, and future.
The Journey of Birch
An Immersive Experience Reflecting on the Nature of Time and Travel.
Grand Seiko, the renowned luxury Japanese timepiece manufacturer, has invited us to create an installation for Design Miami/ which celebrates the brand’s strong bond to nature.
Knots
Sculptural, three-dimensional elements typical to Mizuhiki - the traditional Japanese knotting technique - are depicted as expressive, contemporary two-dimensional illustrations on this collection of digitally printed area rugs.
Merging modern and historic colors and techniques, the collection can perfectly accommodate any chosen environment.
Reciprocal Syntax
Reciprocal Syntax is an interactive installation, depicting the outcome of a creative exchange between two beings, through a metaphorical illustration of a concerted work process. The installation was developed and realized in collaboration with Budapest based digital artists Gabor Papp and Gáspár Hajdu of XORXOR and Ágoston Nagy of Binaura.
Fruit Towers
The Fruit Towers are ceramic vases with high-temperature glaze executed by the craftsmen Jian-Fu Zhong and Wen-Yi Kung.
With the Fruit Towers we wanted to display a relationship between the past and the present, traditional and contemporary.
Catwalk Bench
The Catwalk Bench takes an uncommon approach to upholstery, wherein the textile is displayed as a revolving loop, somewhat reminiscent of a conveyor belt – rather than resting static.
Out Of Order
Out Of Order is the result of a collaboration between Amsterdam-based interdisciplinary design studio BCXSY and Rotterdam-based design studio Atelier Robotiq.
Inverted Spaces
Inverted Spaces is a wallpaper design inspired by the night sky, created in partnership with New York based Calico Wallpaper.
J & L Tumblers
“Incredible care and attention are put into the smallest details, yet at the same time many of the pieces are intended for everyday use – encouraging us to (re)discover the joy of our daily rituals.” With this in mind we have created the J & L Tumblers.
Origin part II: Balance
Balance is the results of our collaboration with Sidreh and the women weavers in Lakiya.
Lakiya Negev Weaving is an organization of Bedouin artisans, initiated by Sidreh, a non-profit organization focused on improving the socioeconomic situation of Bedouin women living in Israel’s Negav Desert.
Origin part I: Join
Join is the results of our collaboration with Mr. Tanaka – a master of Tategu – the traditional craft of Japanese wood joinery.
Join consists of a series of three space-dividers. In each piece two lined frames, representing the humble integrity inherent to the craft, are visually merged to create a moment that deviates from the conventional Tategu aesthetic, and introduces angles and shapes that are not commonly used in the craft.
Destilled Nature
A Vase for Dead Flowers
The beauty of a flower does not die when its petals have wilted and its leaves have begun to wither. When water no longer sustains cut flowers, the ghost-like silhouette of Destilled Nature creates a unique centerpiece for faded beauty.
